Brass is harder than copper and has a yellow gold appearance. It has excellent corrosion resistance but does tarnish. It is useful where low friction is important, for example, locks, valves, gears and bearings. Also used in plumbing and electrical applications.

Copper Sheet

Copper is a medium strength, non-magnetic metal. Copper has good corrosive resistance, can be used for a wide range of applications and is easy to form into shapes. When used outdoors Copper acquires a greenish patina, which protects the metal from further corrosion.
